A couple of in progress sketches to share with you.
My ink ran dry from my black pen. I've been using Faber-Castell Pitt artist pens. I like them but they seem to run out of ink rather quickly.
It always surprises me how different things look after being scanned and displayed on the monitor.
I tried a crackle technique for the Virgin Mary's robe but it didn't quite crackle the way I'd hoped.
I finished At Home by Bill Bryson and learned the first bras, made by Luman Chapman, were called Puffs (1863). Funny that.
Bonjour! What beautiful sketches you're sharing with us! Esp the two hands...that's so pretty and evocative!
